Redemption Trailer Animatic - Final

OKAY! Here's the final animatic for the Redemption trailer. I'm currently working on the layout, and that will be up when it's finished. The only change that will occur in the layout is the baby won't open her eyes, that's about it. Oh! And the wolf is now a cheetah XD. Super glad to be back on the ball!! :)

Icey, Mikka, and Nina Rough Turnarounds

I'm going to update the refined turnarounds here relatively soon, but these are the gists of what the characters look like at this point in development.

Finial Rough Turnaround: Crimson

CRIMSON: After watching his family be killed during the demonic takeover, Crimson went to live with his adopted father, the leader of ToxiClan. Growing up resenting his father for the selfish leadership decisions he made, Crimson joined the military to fight against the demons who ruined his life. He lost his eye in battle and was honorably discharged, which is when his rich father paid for an operation for a new cyber eye, made in PsyClan. Afterwards, his father told him he owed him, and began forcing him to do evil things. Crimson couldn't bear to do them, so he ran away to find Black Phoenix, a rebel group hidden in the forests of SpiritClan who are bent on ridding the world of demonic forces. There, he works hard to train recruits as well as himself so that one day he can send the evil creatures back to where they came from.

Redemption World Concept Art

Keeping it rough and simple: These are some simple conceptual ideas for what the world of Redemption will look like. They're mostly the main capital cities of the clans.

EchoClan: City in the Sky

As the halfway point between opposite sides of the continent, trade industry here is massive. Sky ships park at the docks surrounding each island. This is also a major black market port for sky pirates.

ForestClan: Tree of Life

The giant tree at the center of this metropolis creates a life-sustaining energy similar to that of electricity, and it powers the city. The chief actually lives inside this tree, and his palace only makes up about 1/16th of the tree's total size.

PsyClan: City of the Future

 Psyclan citizens can only catch tidbits of glances into the future, and one of those tidbits happens to be future technology. They create what they see, and viola! The city of the Future is made a modern reality in PsyClan city.

PuriClan is a city founded by monk nomads who originally moved to have peace and quiet freedom in their major monastery. Now, Puriclan is a thriving community made up of their descendants who loosely follow the old traditions of their ancestors. Also, they make great pottery.

SpiritClan is a feisty, gorgeous, horseshoe island whose inner edge is made up of a giant island-wide waterfall. The cities are small, and the communities are tightly bound to each other. Do not mess with them.

ToxiClan wasn't always like this, but after the rule of Kasaidan began, the citizens who couldn't afford livelihood had no choice but to work in slummy factories that power the nicer cities in the domes. The president of ToxiClan took advantage of the loss of hope after Kasaidan and put these ideas into action. He's not too loved among the workers, but the dome-dwellers are unknowledgeable and love his ideals.

Character Finish - MIKKA

Not sure How I feel about the colors on her quite yet, but I wanted to post her to give people a good visual. Meet Mikka! An intelligent quick-thinker that always has a plan. She controls white fire, that only she can put out. Almost always keeps a cool head on her shoulders, but if you piss her off, watch out. 'Cuz you will die. Painfully. Thanks again to Tori!

Character Finish - ICEY

Do not meddle in the affairs of people with ice powers, for you are futile and would look good as a sculpture. Meet Icey! A SpiritClan girl with ice powers, but the temper of a hot-head. A proud clan member, her and Mikka were assigned with the job of protecting the Clan's orb if things went sour, which is exactly what happened. Sitting for 15 years as stone statues holding the orb, they were accidentaly found by Nina, who released them from their stone state. Icey's hot temperment and "shoot first, ask questions later" persona let others know she is a force to be reckoned with. Icey, isn't her birth name, and no one knows her real name except her flame-throwing sister Mikka, who won't tell a soul. No one knows why, either. Big thanks to my friend Tori for help with character designs when I was stuck!

The Votes Are In, and the Outfit Colors Have Been Re-Adjusted and Set! Meet Nina Hikari!

The final outfit is confirmed for the main character! Thank you so much for all of your votes! The winning color was red, which I darkened after also desaturating the pants to make her look less Christmassy. 

Meet Nina Hikari! the main character of Redemption. She's a 15-year-old troublemaker with a big heart and a mind of her own. The last surviving member of a race called the ChaosClan, Nina was dropped off at an orphanage as a baby where she spent her life, until the day the orphanage was attacked by monsters looking for her, and she had to run away. With no knowledge of her past, her importance, or the world, she stumbles upon two girls who realize that she is the one foretold about in a prophecy. They take her to the rebel group known as the Black Phoenix to help end the evil that has taken over their world.

Powers: Shapeshifting, Green Aura, and The Rage.

Second Complete Character Turnaround: Jordan

It's a little rough, but here is the second finished turnaround of one of my main characters, Jordan! he's a charming 15-year-old with an attitude and the ability/power to blow stuff up with his hands! After leaving the "trader ship" crew who raised him *cough* moral pirates *cough cough*, he joined the secret rebel group base known as the Black Phoenix, and now fights to put the world back to normal and defeat the evil that has taken over! He's pretty awesome and he knows it.

Next Turnaround Progress

Working on my next character's turnaround, and I'm falling in love with these characters more than ever before with each drawing. Anyone know this badass's name?!
